Our Bioland -farm operates by the rules for ecological farming, as forced by corresponding regulations of the European Union.

These rules comprise essentially

• selection of race and bread lines that are adopted to local conditions,
• not buying add-on animal food stuff
• avoiding genetic engineering and embryo transfers
• home-grown basic animal food,
• milk as the only animal food that is made by animals
• no add-ons to raise performance or growth, no medicine food
• husbandry conditions according to characteristics of the species in free-stalls with pasturing
• animal deseases to be treated mainly with natural healing
